The West Bengal Public Service Commission introduced an additional paper of General Studies II (Aptitude paper) in the WBCS prelims exam. Consequently, the Commission removed the aptitude section from the General Studies paper I and changed the weghtage of each section in the General Studies I as mentioned below:

The candidate must have a degree from a recognized University in India. The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak in the Bengali language. Candidates whose mother tongue in Nepali are exempted from this requirement. The West Bengal Public Service Commission released the WBCS 2022 final answer key online on August 4, 2022. WBPSC released the WBCS 2022 prelims final answer key online only for the candidates so that they could check their answers and calculate their marks in the WBCS 2022 prelims exam which was conducted on June 19, 2022. WBPSC released the tentative WBCS answer key on June 21, 2022, and asked the candidates to send objections online against the answer key by July 4, 2022.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission releases the WBCS tentative answer key within a week from the exam. The Commission inviites representations against the incorrect answers mentioned in the WBCS answer key. The candidates are required to send the objections within the specified time limit with standard references. The Commission analyse such objections and made the changes wherever required. After such changes the Commission releases the final answer key.
The candidates cannot challenge the final answer key at the Commission level.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission release the WBCS answer key in PDF. The candidates will be required to download the WBCS answer key from the official website - psc.wb.gov.in. The candidates will be required log in with their credentials and download the WBCS answer key. The Commission will release the answers to all the questions asked in the WBCS prelims exam. The Commission will also mention the questions which were removed from the exam. The Commission is expected to release the WBCS answer key within a week from the exam.
The WBCS is yet to release the exam calendar and notification dates.

The WBPSC WBCS admit card will have the following key details Name of the candidate appearing for the exam Roll Number Registration Number Date of birth Exam Center Address and Code Reporting time at the exam center Date and duration of the exam The West Bengal Public Service Commission hall ticket is a mandatory document that candidates must carry to the exam center along with a valid photo ID proof like Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID or Driving License. Candidates are advised to carry two copies of their photo ID proof as well.

The candidates should note that the West Bengal Public Service Commission conduct the WBCS exam and releases all the public notices related to it. WBPSC releases the WBCS admit card also.If there are any discrepancies in the details printed on your WBCS admit card, the candidates should immediately contact the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) officials or the designated authority.
The WBCS admit card will be available online only and no admit card will be sent by post.
