The in-hand RPF Constable salary includes basic salary, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and others depending on their location and level. RPF Constable in-hand salary ranges between 22,000 to 25,000. This amount increases as they progress in their career and receive promotions and increments.

RPF Constables are placed in the pay band of INR 5200-20200 and carries a grade pay of INR 2000. This helped calculate their basic pay and allowances. With the implementation of the 7th Central Pay Commission, the grade pay system was replaced by the pay matrix. The pay level of RPF Constable start at the pay level 03 with the a basic salary of INR 21,700.
