You are eligible for non-technical branches of Indian Army as a Commissioned Officer. You are advised to appear for CDS examination conducted by UPSC to join Indian Army provided you have done B.Sc HM degree from a recognised university. CDS is conducted twice a year by UPSC.

You are eligible to seek all Government jobs where eligibility criteria is Electrical Engineering. You can even apply for Indian Engineering Services Examination conducted by UPSC after B.Tech in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering degree.

It depends on you if you can manage both sides course. As well as coaching if you have just one aim i.e. civil services so go for SOL in DU that is the School of Open Learning if you have to attend classes only on Saturday and Sunday. But SOL course degrees' value is not equal to regular course.

Hi Abhishek,
The New Delhi would be a far better option for UPSC civil services coaching. Some of the best coaching institutes such as Vajiram, Vision, ALS, Khan Academy, etc. are in Delhi which has best faculty and study material. They have even produced some great results in UPSC examination in recent past also.
