Indian Army does not directly hire defense technology specialist. Army engineers are trained in specialized defense technologies at IITs, DRDO and Defence Institute of Advance Technology - Pune.

Hello Ram,
To become superintendent of police, you will have to first join the police department as an assistant superintendent of police or assistant commissioner of police by qualifying the civil service exam, conducted by union public service commission.
With experience and accomplishment, you will rise to the rank of superintendent of police, SSP, deputy inspector general of police, inspector general of police, additional director general of police and finally the director general of police, who is the head of the police force in a state.

CBI:-
The minimum eligibility to join CBI in the assistant grade is a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Age: The minimum eligible age, to write combined graduate level examination, is 20 years whereas, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
- Height: Height: 165 cms
- Chest: 76 cms with expansion
Procedure to join:-
To join the CBI department, you will need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the Staff selection commission every year.

No, 12th class and graduation marks are not important for UPSC exams. Only the minimum criteria of 50% should be fulfilled. For some positions and vacancies minimum marks may be greater than 50% but they do not give any weightage to these marks in selection criteria.
