Government & Defence Entrance Exam

It is a great opportunity for you that your examination is going to be held in the next year 2018 as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts this examination every year.
Income Tax Officer Exam is conducted by SSC to recruit the Income Tax Officer.
However, there are some eligibility criteria such as:
1. Qualification:
You should have any degree of a recognized university or equivalent. As you have done graduation in B.Com, so you are positively eligible.
2. Age:
Your age should not be not less than 18 years and not greater than 27 years on the first July of the year of examination.
3. Physical standards:
Height: 157.5cm
Chest: 81cm, fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
4. Physical test:
Walking: 1600 meters in 15 minutes.
Cycling: 8 Km in 30 minutes.
5. Selection procedure:
There will be a written examination of all objective type questions.
Then, a personal interview for qualified students in the written test.
6. Syllabus:
General intelligence: It consists of your ability of reasoning, how much you can analysis a problem.
General English: It consists English Language and will be based on error recognition, fill in the blanks using verbs, preposition, articles, vocabulary, spellings, grammar, sentence-structure, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, phrases and idiomatic, use of words, etc.
Arithmetical ability: It consists of problems relating to number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, percentages, ratio and proportions, averages, interest, profit and loss, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, etc.
General awareness: It consists of the general awareness of the environment around you and its application to society.

Offline procedure:-
Applicant can visit the nearby office of sub-divisional magistrate/ office of Tehsil or Revenue department and can get the application form from there. After getting the application form, applicant needs to fill it properly in a prescribed format and attach the required documents in it as given below.
1) Copy of Ration card.
2) Attested copy of State school Leaving Certificate( SSLC)
3) Attested the fee stamp worth of Rs 5/-
After attaching all the above required documents, applicant needs to pay the fee and submit the application form in an office. After submitting all the documents in the concerned office, the department will check your record of application id or reference id and verify all the documents to confirm that you had already applied in the past or not. After completing all the procedure, within 2 to 3 weeks the department will send your duplicate caste certificate through courier or by informing to you for collect it.
Online procedure:-
Applicants can also apply their caste certificate through online mode. For this they can visit the official website. After that fill the application form through online and attach all the required documents which is already given above in the offline procedure. After that applicant needs to submit the form and pay the required amount prescribed by the executive and they will give a registration slip to the applicant and then applicant needs to go the village officer and submit the registration slip. The village officer will issue the caste certificate to the applicant within 10 working days.

Unfortunately, you can not join as a Commissioned Officer in IAF after 10+2 without appearing for NDA. You can join IAF after graduation degree. Any graduate or engineer can join Flying branch in Indian Air Force subject to meeting other criterion. The following are the three modes of entry for Graduates/ Engineers to join the Flying branch:
(a) Combined Defence Services Examination (for men only): CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year. Eligibility criteria to appear for CDS is age between 20 to 24 years single males and three year degree graduate in any discipline from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) / BE /B.Tech (4-year course). Advertisements are released by UPSC in the months of June and November.(b) NCC Special Entry: As an Air Wing Senior Division C Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, cadets can apply to the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force. Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and will be given a Permanent Commission. Remaining eligibility criteria are same as CDS entry. NCC Cadets are to apply through respective NCC Air Squadrons/DG NCC.
(c) SSC (Short Service Commission ) entry( for men and women). Graduates both men and women who are single can apply through AFCAT for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch. Short Service Commission in Flying branch is for 14 years with no further extension. Remaining eligibility criteria are same as CDS. Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years. Advertisements for AFCAT are released by the IAF in the months of June and December.
