Questions from important topics such as Composition & physical States of Matter Colligative Properties, Thermodynamics Refractive index, Ionic equilibrium, Solutions, Electrochemistry are seen in the exam. Candidates are advised to prepare these topics thoroughly. The GPAT Organic Chemistry Syllabus comprise of topics such as Different classes of compounds, Protection & deprotection of groups, Aromaticity & Chemistry of aromatic compounds, Different aromatic classes of compounds, Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, Carbonyl Chemistry etc.

The GPAT syllabus generally comprises nineteen subjects. Questions from important topics of these subjects are generally seen in the exam as per the previous year trend. There are 5 five sections in GPAT 2026 exam namely Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Allied Subjects, Pharmaceutics & Allied Subjects, Pharmacognosy & Allied Subjects, Pharmacology & Allied Subjects, and other subjects. All the 19 topics are bifurcated among these 5 sections in the exam. There will be objective-type questions in the entrance exam.

At the time of admission to pharmacy colleges, Candidates may be asked to submit a photocopy copy of their GPAT 2026 admit card to the institute as a part of the document verification process. Therefore it is suggested that candidates should keep a copy of the GPAT admit card safe until the admission process is over. The GPAT admission process requires candidates to be present will all valid and original documents. At the time of counselling by the individual colleges, the GPAT admit card download window will be deactivated.

Important details such as Candidate roll number, Personal details of the candidate such as photo, name and signature, gender, date of birth, category, father name, Date and time of the exam, Name and address of the exam centre, Reporting time are mentioned on the admit card. These essential details are candidate-specific and must be checked carefully. Any mistake in these details must be rectified immediately by contacting the conducting authority. In addition to these details, important instructions related to the GPAT 2025 exam and the exam centre are also mentioned on the hall ticket.

GPAT 2025 admit card comprises the candidate's photograph and signature. If, in case, there is no photograph on the GPAT admit card, candidates are advised to contact the help centre and get the mistake rectified. It is important to check if the GPAT admit card carries your photograph for the purpose of verification at the time of entry in the test centre. Candidates will also have to carry a valid photo ID proof having the same photograph as provided on the GPAT admit card.
