If you like the idea of designing visually aesthetic logos, packaging, magazines, book covers, signs, UI Layouts, etc. then you can consider pursuing this course.
Coming to your concern, yes, AI seems to design and produce a lot of content within a few clicks. My take on it is that we should rather learn to adapt/collaborate instead of being fearful.
AI very well might take over some job profiles in this domain, but graphic design as a career scope will never fully sustain without human supervision, leaving certain job profiles safer than others.

Yes, graphic design is part of LPU's animation programmes, but it is covered as a supporting skill rather than a separate focus. Along with animation and VFX, the course includes elements like visual design, 2D graphics, and digital illustration, which are useful for building animation and multimedia work.
This mix helps in understanding both the creative and technical side of design, especially when working on projects and visual storytelling.

The Best "Institute": If you want a structured, classroom-like feel online, Arena Animation or MAAC (Maya Academy) are the traditional giants in India. They offer comprehensive "Graphic Design" certification courses where Photoshop is a major module. They are good if you need a certificate to show your parents, but they are expensive for just learning one software.
The Best "Real" Source: If you actually want to master the software to get hired, the "No. 1" source is Udemy (specifically courses by instructors like Daniel Scott or Lindsay Marsh). For ₹499 (during a sale), you will learn more practical skills than you would in a 6-month
