The mode of application at Gurugram University is online with students able to apply through the university page as long as the course eligibility is completed. While the entrance exams is the mode of selections. Students must also pay applications to the university and for the required exams.

The application fees for Gurugram University admissions are separate for different categories and have been listed here:
- General Category: INR 1000
- Scheduled Caste, Backward Class of Haryana, EWS: INR 250
Aside from these application fees another requirement is the application fees of the required entrance exams

- Matriculation Certificate

The selection process for BTech and MBA programmes of Gurugram University depends on entrance exam scores with students having to appear for the following:
- BTech: HSTES, NEET, etc.
- MBA: MAT, CAT, CMAT, CUET-PG, SAT India, etc.
Aside from entrance exams students must also meet the eligibility requirements set by the university.

Students should prepare thoroughly if they wish for admission to these courses.

To study MBA at Gurugram University students have to apply on the university page with entrance exam scores such as MAT, CAT, CMAT, SAT India, etc. while to qualify for admissions students need to meet the requirement of having a UG degree with a score of 50% or more.

The course fees of Gurugram University depends on course level, type, specialisation and other factors with the fee structure having many constitutents. Though generally one will find that the Gurugram University course fees ranges around INR 3,19,880 for some courses while others go down till INR 4,000 to INR 2.5 Lakhs for MA tuition fees if one takes into account fee concessions.
