Yes, it is mandatory to qualify for NEET to participate in the counselling process. Admission to all UG medical/dental courses in Haryana, vis-à-vis India, will be based on NEET results only. The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana is the conducting body for the Haryana NEET counselling. Hence, the official website of this state counselling is dmer.haryana.gov.in. Haryana NEET UG counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana. Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, is the conducting body for this state counselling. This university, on behalf of DMER Haryana conducts the counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling.
