The placement activities are individually organised by all the departments of HNGU. According to the NIRF report 2023, during HNGU placements 2022, the median package offered to UG (5-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 1.90 LPA and INR 1.60 LPA, respectively. Hemchandracharya University (HNGU) is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and through 19 departments and several affiliated colleges, offers UG, PG, diploma, and certificate courses to students across Arts, Science, Commerce, Architecture, and Management streams.

At the UG level, the university offers three to five-year BSc and BCA, one to two-year B.Ed, three-year BCom, and one-year B.Lib.I.Sc., five-year BArch, and other courses for students. At the PG level, the university offers two-year MBA, MA, MHA, MSW, MCom, and M.P.Ed courses to students, two to five-year MSc, etc. Admission to various courses at HNGU is based on merit and entrance exam scores.

HNGU is spread across 212.5 acre of land. Initially, the university campus was build by the land taken from the Gujarat University. Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University offers various facilities to students like hostels, a library with a collection of 79,110 books, a kho-kho ground, a volleyball court, judo, weight lifting, and others. The university also has a gym, cafeteria, medical room, auditorium, etc.
