Himachal Pradesh University BA admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024. The admissions are based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board can get admission to the BA programme.

HPTU provides scholarship to eligible students to pursue their studies. Applicants must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh and must be financially backward or ward of an employee of the state Government. There are many scholarships available for students to pursue their chosen streams. The University also offers scholarship offered by the UGC and AICTE to criteria based deserving or qualifying students.

Each State have few excellent engineering colleges, HPTU is one of them.As per the Industry estimates an average cost of four year engineering programme in other colleges charges 8-10 lakhs.Where as HPTU charges Nominal Fees 1.97 lakhs.Well experienced Professor, industry exposure and institution placement are the best factors to join this university.
