As per Central University of Himachal Pradesh cutoff 2023,   closing score of round 1  for B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit is 62, for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics is 360.53, which is the highest score of all the specialisations and for Shastri it is 32 for the General category students belonging to All India Quota. 

The University has not disclosed the CUHP the highest package. However, the course-wise median package for 2023 is out, which is tabulated below:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year postgraduate course offered by the Central University of Haryana. Admission to this programme necessitates meeting specific criteria. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or an equivalent grade (with a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates). Entrance into the MBA programme is determined by the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) PG.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year postgraduate course offered by the Central University of Haryana. Admission to this programme necessitates meeting specific criteria. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in computer applications from a recognised university, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (with a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates). Admission into MCA programme is determined by the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET). The admission process includes filling out the application form, appearing for the entrance test, participating in counselling process, submission of necessary documents and finally payment of fee. 

Students who cancel their admission before the commencement of the academic session will be eligible for a full refund of their admission fees. Students who cancel their admission after the commencement of the academic session will be eligible for a refund of their admission fees, minus a processing fee. Thereafter, on cancellation/ withdrawal of admissions, the entire fee collected from a student should be refunded in full after deducting not more than INR 1000/- as processing fee

The Central University of Haryana offers several Post Graduate (PG) courses. The fee for PG courses at Central University of Haryana varies depending on the course. For example, the fee for MBA, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.Com and MCA is INR 14,950 for the first year, while the first year fee for MA is INR 7,950.

For admission to UG courses at CUHP, students need to fulfil a basic eligibility criteria. Thus, an applicant must be a Class 12 pass with respective subjects from a recognised board to be eligible. CUET PG  is the entrance exam which is accepted for admission to MBA Central University of Himachal Pradesh .  A minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade should be there in Bachelors/UG degree from a recognised University or an equivalent examination for admission to MBA. Earlier CAT and MAT were accepted for the entrance for MBA in CUHP, but after CUET the admissions are through CUET PG.

For admission to BSc at CUHP, students need to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidate must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Physics + Chemistry + Biology /Biological Studies / Biotechnology Or

Combination II: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics merit will be based on the ‘best CUET score’ obtained in any of the above-mentioned combination of subjects. The candidate must obtain a minimum of 30% marks insection I of CUET

The University offers a four-year BFA course at the UG level. This course is offered across two specialisations. Admission to Central University of Himachal Pradesh BFA course is based on the CUET UG exam, which is conducted by NTA every year. 

According to CUHP NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during CUHP UG 3-year and PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 LPA and INR 2.75 LPA, respectively. However, as per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to PG (2 years) during placements 2022 was INR 2.5 LPA. Further,  63 students of PG (2 years) were placed during CUHP placements 2022. 

In Central University of Himachal Pradesh the Total fees for MA which has total 14 different courses is about 4000 to 5400. And eligibility criteria is graduation with minimum 50% and entrance exam CUET- PG. Different courses such as MA in Political Science, Hindi, English Language and Literature, Economics, Sociology, History, Journalism, Punjabi, New media and Communication and many more such courses. And all these courses has 33 seats. And course fees of 4k . With average package of 2.5 Lakh. 

The fee structure for BSc Physics at Central University of Himachal Pradesh includes multiple components. The BSc tuition fee is around INR 4,000 and includes a one-time fee of INR 2,200. Once the merit lists are released, candidates are called for registration and verification of academic qualifications/documents. Students are required to pay the BSc fee once the verification is confirmed.

No, Class 12th board marks are not directly considered in CUET UG 2025 result calculation. The CUET UG score is solely based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance test. However, to be eligible for admission through CUET UG, candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in Class 12th (or equivalent qualifying examination) as per the eligibility criteria of individual universities.

It’s important to note that while CUET UG acts as a common entrance test for undergraduate admissions in central, state, and participating universities, Class 12th and Class 10th marks may be used only in tie-breaking situations: when two or more candidates secure the same CUET percentile.

CUET UG 2025 offers a standardised platform for students from all education boards across India, allowing them to select subjects of their choice. Participating universities will consider candidates’ subject-wise CUET scores for admission to respective undergraduate programmes.

CUHP admits candidates on the basis CUET-PG merit score.The university releases lists after the declaration of the results.On this basis students can register for further admission proceedings.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026 registration will begin at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2026 notification in first week of March. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET registration 2026 process begins online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2026 exam must ensure that complete the application form online. CUET 2026 registration will end tentatively in last week of March. Further to the last date, candidates will not be able to fill out the CUET application form. No request for extension of CUET registration until the last date will be entertained.
