Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) is Central University all funded by central government.It offers a range of UG, PG and doctoral courses.It relatively have newer infrastructure and facilities since it is Central government funded.It more emphasize research due to its central university status.Its Campus is also good but small in comparison with other central universities. In future, its reputation may going to increase since it used modern approaches.

However, both the Universities are good and likely have well experience faculty members.HPU being old can be said to have more longer-reputation in the region.
