SRM University is a self-financing, totally for profit institution. Everything is a revenue making model. Low quality food is served in hostels so that students will eat junk food at Java Green again owned by goons of the university. It is recently in news for frauding large number of students to the tune of 90 crores and the owner cum chancellor is arrested and the final verdict is yet to be given in the court of law. The internal marks are 50- which you can buy in some departments. There is allegations that the question papers are leaked or compromised in many instances. You should take admission in HIT. Good luck.
