The following are the required documents during the process of applying for B.Tech at Hirasugar Institute of Technology:-
- General documents:- 10th, 12th marksheet, TC, migration, character certificate, I'd proof (aadhar/voter id) and passport size photographs.
- Entrance exam score cards:- KCET/COMEDK UGET scorecard.
- Reservation Category (if applicable) :-Cast certificate, income certificate, disability certificate, kannada medium certificate.
- Other documents:- Anti Ragging Affidavit, parents's income certificate and id proofs.

According to the latest information, the KCET Last Round Closing Rank (General-All India) ranged from 91188 to 214876 for all the specializations of B.Tech. The cut off may vary for different specializations of B.Tech according to their demand. As per the general category cut off, the highest cut off was for B.Tech in computer Science and engineering. The most desired course for OBC category was also CS only with closing rank of 91188. No, you cannot take direct admission for any course at Hirasugar Institute of Technology. The admissions at this Institute are entrance based, you have to clear certain exams to secure your seat. The Institute offered two courses, B.Tech and MTech, the following are the entrance exams accepted:-
- B.Tech:- COMEDK UGET, KCET
- M.Tech:- GATE, Karnataka PGCET.
These are the only way of getting admission, cut off will be released according to seats intake and score of students. If you planning to pursue any course at this Institute, you are suggested to start preparing for entrance exams.
