Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who are interested to join for Hotel Management courses must essentially complete 12th class. Candidates can take up any specific subject of their choice as specialisation in 12th class. 50% is the average percentage of marks to be scored by candidates to apply for Hotel Management courses. Candidates can apply for undergraduate level courses in Hotel Management in top universities after passing 12th class. For this, it is essential to get through the specific selection steps followed by each university. In most cases, reputed universities select candidates for Hotel Management courses through written examination. The performance of candidates in the written tests will determine their selection for undergraduate level courses in this field.

MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management is a full-time course for a duration of 2 years. Candidates need to hold a Bachelors degree with an aggregate of 50% in any relevant discipline from a recognised university listed under the UGC/AIU, in addition to passing a common entrance examination conducted by the university. Candidates are required to pass the Common Admission Test (CAT). However, the entrance examinations conducted by other institutions may differ. The course is divided into theory and assignment including case studies/projects. The subjects in the first year of the programme are general for all other streams of MBA with a view to providing insights about Finance, Operations, and Human Resource as applicable to Tourism Industry.
