IHM Chennai and IHM Chandigarh both accept the scores of NCHMT MSc JEE for admissions to MSc courses. Hence, the admission process is almost similar for both institutions, as the first requirement is that candidates must complete their graduation with an aggregate of 55%; then they must appear for the NCHMT MSc JEE, followed by counselling. Therefore, it is hard to determine which institute is easier to get admission into MSc courses.

However, applicants can compare the two institutes by their cutoffs from here: IHM Chandigarh cutoff and IHM Chennai cutoff.

The total fee for a BSc course at IHM Chennai is around INR 4.95 lakh. On the other hand, the IHM Hajipur BSc fees are INR 3 Lacs for a three-year duration. Hence, IHM Hajipur is more affordable for BSc courses compared to IHM Chennai. However, to consider which institute is the best option for a BSc, the fee structure can be one component that candidates can consider, but several other factors can be considered while competing with the IHMs, such as placement package, college recognition, ranking, accreditation, etc.

IHM Chennai OBC AI category cutoff 2025 for admission to the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course was 7689 in the last round. In the first round, the closing rank stood at 6402. So, considering the first and last round closing ranks, if you belong to the OBC category and are seeking admission to IHM Chennai, you must target to secure a cutoff rank of up to 7689 or less to improve your chance of getting admission. The lower the cutoff rank, the higher the chance of getting admission, and vice versa.
