To get admission into Dangayach School of Hotel Management, candidates need to satisfy the admission criteria beforehand. The institute accepts applicants on a merit basis for all courses except for MBA. MBA admissions are done on the basis of valid score obtained by the candidates in the accepted entrance test followed by a round of WAT-PI. Once the final selection is made and selected candidates are informed, such applicants need to pay the admission fees for seat confirmation at DSHM.

Students have the availability of many scholarships in order to pursue a hotel management course. The amount of the scholarships available and their eligibility criteria depends upon the type of course, country, and institution one is targetting.  A few of the scholarships may be based on financial requirements, academic merit, or criteria related to the hospitality field. There are also many institutions which offer their own financial aid or scholarship programmes. Students may also explore external scholarships which various foundations or agencies offer.

Absolutely! The Hotel Management degree is not gender specific. Boys as well as girls can pursue the same. Infact, most of the famous chefs around the world are males only. A diverse field, the hospitality domain consists of several operation areas such as food and beverage, tourism, accommodation, events, and much more. Being an inclusive field, men and women irrespective of their backgrounds have a wide range of opportunities in here. What matters the most is your interest, passion and ofcourse your dedication to make it big.

Based on the most recent admission data, the general category cutoff for B.Voc. BHU had about 90 points out of a total of 200 in Tourism and Hospitality Management Program. For reserved categories, the cutoffs are reduced - usually within the range of 75 to 80 points. These figures, however, are symbolic and applicants may vary each year based on the pool and examination difficulty. For cutoff details, it is best to refer to the official admission notifications of BHU directly or contact their admission office.
