Yes, AIHMCT What is only for children of defense personnel. AIHMCT falls under the category of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) Professional College. In AWES colleges children of eligible serving Army personnel, ex-Army personnel and war widows of the Army are offered admission. Regards.

Learning something is never a waste of time. However, if you feel you can do better in your field of study, i.e civil engineering, you should definitely pursue that. You can always do a part-time course to learn the art of cooking. If you strongly feel that you want to learn cooking full time, you should pursue a course in Bachelors in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts from Culinary Academy of India. It will broaden your scope for employment.
