It depends. If your skills are up to the mark and you are really ready for the industry, you can attend the interview during your placements at college. If you get selected as an MT (Management Trainee) during the interview period, you will be seeing yourself as a manager within two years after getting recruited. People always look for MT, so I would suggest you to grow your skills in the field you want to grow in and you will definitely be paid high after 2 years of MT.

Any subjects can be pursued in order to study Hotel Management. It doesn't have any required specialization to do in class 11th and class 12th. To make it easy, you can pursue commerce. It is a good choice of stream to study.

Many state governments have introduced common entrance test for admission to the hotel management colleges. But others allow admissions based on marks obtained in 12th. You will have to check on the website of your state.

If you really want to learn, then start learning cooking as basic, like which food you eat on regular basis try to learn that first, then slowly start watching YouTube channel for simple recipes and with the practice you will learn easily. And, if you want to learn it with the professional and want to get certificate, then you should join any certification course for cookery.
