Yet, Bangalore Culinary Academy has no national or global ranking in the field of Hotel Management as far as its official records are concerned. It is known for its standard learning in hospitality industry especially in catering but is not in the list of top hotel management learning institutions on most popular ranking sites. It has a concentrated course structure adapted to the hotel industry and enjoys good relations with many famous hotel companies, which helps find a job and internships. However, rankings can be based on elements like academic reputation, employers' satisfaction, quality of faculty and physical facilities but does not remain same for all the ranking list available.

The Bangalore Culinary Academy of culinary arts was started in 2005 to offer Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) course which is very industry oriented. Hotel management graduates at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir's SPH College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MGVSPH) in Nashik are not guaranteed a 100% placement rate. With students landing jobs in a variety of hospitality organizations, the college boasts an approximate 82% placement rate. 

The lowest stated monthly pay for graduates is about INR 5,000 while the highest is about INR 10,000.

Alfaa Catering College also offers a B.Sc. in Catering and Hotel Administration. Candidates should have passed the 10+2 educational level with at least an aggregate of 50%.
