In the case of IHM Bangalore and its mention that NRI students can apply directly to the institute, it means that NRI candidates are not required to appear for the NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination). Instead, they can apply directly to the institute through a separate admission process set by the institution.

However, NRI students still need to meet the eligibility criteria and provide necessary documentation (like proof of NRI status and academic qualifications) to secure admission.

It is always recommended to expand your potential for international exposure in the hospitality industry:

  • Knowing different languages improves communication skills and opens options for new profiles.
  • Travelling internationally also extends your perspective and enhances cross-cultural comprehension.
  • Also, acquiring practical experience in foreign hotel environments can offer important insights into hospitality customs around the world.

Hope this helps!
