Students have the availability of many scholarships in order to pursue a hotel management course. The amount of the scholarships available and their eligibility criteria depends upon the type of course, country, and institution one is targetting.  A few of the scholarships may be based on financial requirements, academic merit, or criteria related to the hospitality field. There are also many institutions which offer their own financial aid or scholarship programmes. Students may also explore external scholarships which various foundations or agencies offer.

Absolutely! The Hotel Management degree is not gender specific. Boys as well as girls can pursue the same. Infact, most of the famous chefs around the world are males only. A diverse field, the hospitality domain consists of several operation areas such as food and beverage, tourism, accommodation, events, and much more. Being an inclusive field, men and women irrespective of their backgrounds have a wide range of opportunities in here. What matters the most is your interest, passion and ofcourse your dedication to make it big.

Admission is merit-based in the 10+2 examination with a minimum eligibility of 45% marks from a recognized board. The university does not release specific cutoff marks for the BHM course, as admission is mostly on the basis of academic merit in 12th grade. To get a better chance of getting admitted, applicants should target more marks. For the most recent cutoff information and admission news, go to the Punjabi University admissions website (pupadmissions.ac.in) or get in touch with the university directly.
