Both courses, if seen individually have advantages and disadvantages. Hotel Management is a really a good option only if you are interested in service field and are up to hard work, irregular shifts. But, it is a glamorous industry, you get to meet different types of people, which gives exposure. On other hand, mass communication is a field where you communicate with people. It totally depends on you where your interests are.

IIHM is better in every aspect, for example, their placements are good, and they provide international experience. But, if you are interested in hotel management, try Vedatya Institute, Gurgaon. https://www.vedatya.ac.in/.

The fee structure for the course is Rs. 75,000 per year. Placement: Companies such as Taj Group, Oberoi Group, Hyatt, Marriott, and Four Seasons are a part of the placement cell. Job opportunities are nice, packages may vary according to your scores and performance in the interview. The admission is through entrance exam, so you need to fill up the admission form to follow the procedure.
