Yes, BHM grads can apply for government jobs such as catering officers in railways, defense as well as tourism departments.

Exams like UPSC, SSC, and state PSCs also helps candidates to apply for administrative roles. 

Additionally, govt hospitality colleges hire BHM professionals as lecturers, training officers, or hospitality staff.

Technology plays a very imprtant part in the modern history, as well as in the Hospitality industry. BHM students learn to use hotel management software and booking systems as well as digital marketing tools.

No, mathematics is not compulsory for BHM admission. Students from any stream can apply.

However, basic math is taught during the course for accounting, costing, and inventory management. Commerce and Science students may find this easier, but even Arts students can manage with training provided in college.

Yes strong communication in English is important in BHM because hospitality grads need to have interaction with global clients and guests daily.

Fluency in English and also soft skills like politeness and problem-solving helps in improving the employment chances in luxury hotels and international hotels.

BHM focuses specifically on hotel and lodging management liek food service, front office and also operations.

Hospitality Management is broader, covering tourism, travel, events, resorts and even leisure management apart from hotels. While BHM is more specialized Hospitality Management prepares students for diverse service industry roles.

Yes, BHM graduates do get jobs in the cruise line and airlines because both the sectors are always in need of good graduates. 

Bvarious job roles that are offered are cabin crew, inflight services, guest relations, food & beverage supervisors, or luxury hospitality managers on cruises.

Freshers in industry can earn around INR 2.5 - 4.5 LPA after degree but then it again depends on location, type of job, company, etc.

International placements or jobs in luxury chains like Taj, Oberoi, Marriott and Hilton, many may offer higher packages.

Candidates must know that experience also play a major role in estimating slaary of an individual. more experience, better pay of an individual.

BHM is all about process of managing and catering, which includes entire hotel operations and functionalities. It include both service skills with managerial skills.

But BSc Hotel Management is more about scientific side of hospitality. It includes topics such as food science, catering technology and housekeeping techniques.

Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) is mostly 4 year course and it have 8 semesters.
