To be eligible for the B.Sc. programme at the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition in Srinagar, candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Additionally, English must have been studied as a compulsory subject during their 10+2 education. Candidates should also be below the age of 25 years at the time of admission. Admission is based on the score obtained in the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam.

But this college has placement rate of 90 percent from last few years which is considerable. To get BHMCT (bachelor of hotel management and catering technology) at Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, follow the below process

  • firstly, complete your intermediate with 50 percent aggregate marks from any state board or from any recognised board along with English as a mandatory subject
  • Later prepare for the entrance exam like MAH HM CET or MAH BHMCT CET and get a non zero score in the exam

No, you can not get direct admission to BHMCT course at Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Admission to the BHMCT course in this college is on the basis of entrance exams. The national-level entrance exam conducted for BHMCT admissions is NCHMCT JEE (National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam). The NCHMCT JEE or NCHM JEE is mainly conducted for admission to the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology colleges in india. Finally, you can't get direct admission.
