Bachelor of Hotel Management and catering technology is only approved course as per AICTE and UGC norms which have to be 4 years technical course. There are people selling degree on the name of Bachelor degree in Hospitality are in plenty making fool of students as the degree may not be honored in any Government job or foreign education or placement purpose. It is only accepted by private hotels or companies when it comes to offering jobs.

Hi,
You don't need to pursue MBA if you want to become a manager in a hotel.
If you are about to complete your 12th, you can appear for NCHMCT Joint Entrance Exam depending upon your rank in NCHMCT you will get an IHM. If you get a good IHM, you just need to study for 3-years BHM and in the 3rd-year, you can sit for placements.

No, you can't pursue both degrees from government institute, as this scheme was started by private institutions. No government institutes offer such scheme.
If you wish to do both the qualifications, then you can do it. But, from separate government institutes.
I'm also pursuing Diploma at present from Pusa Polytechnic, and I wish to pursue degree from DTU.
You can appear for CET for Diploma and LEET for DTU.
I hope I've made myself clear.
