There is no percentage criteria to apply for the courses offered by the IIHM.
To be eligible for the Bachelor's degree program in Hospitality Management, you must have qualified +2 level of exam from a recognized board.
To join the course, you will have to crack an entrance test conducted by the institute which is known as Combined Hospitality Aptitude Test and is conducted online.

Yes, the certificates will help you in college selection, as with the caste certificate you may get a better college due to reservations quota.

The eligibility depends on the type of course that you wish to pursue, the details of some courses is stated below:
Diploma Class 10th pass from a recognized board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.
Graduate & PG programs may also require you to appear in entrance exams such as NCHMCT, AIMA UGAT, and E-CHAT etc.

Yes, hotel management has a good scope. Hotel management can include hotel & restaurant management, cruise ship hotel management, hospital administration and catering, hotel and tourism associations, airline catering and cabin services, club management, forest lodges, guest houses among others. Expansion of global travel industry and aviation industry is expected to boost hotel industry in next couple of years.purely depends on your CV and the institution from where you have pursued hotel management.
