You have completed BA degree from Nagaland University, so you are eligible for hotel management course. Those candidates who have completed class 12th from recognized board are eligible for hotel management course.
Your age should be above 22 years. You can apply for Diploma course or graduation course. The duration of Diploma course is 2 years. The duration of graduation course is 3 years.

After completing your class 10th examination, you are not eligible to apply for hotel management course because to apply for hotel management course, you need to pass your class 12th examination. The duration of hotel Management Diploma course and Bachelor course is 1.5 year to 3 year.
I will suggest you, if you are interested in hotel management course, then you should complete your class 12th and then apply for hotel management course. After completing class 12th, you are eligible to apply for B.Sc in hotel management.

There are a number of options available for a career as a chef, and these include the following:
The best choice would be a course in hotel management from a reputed institution. There are approximately 20 government run institutes across the country, which offer the right infrastructure and faculty and are registered under (NCHM) National Council of Hotel Management.
A number of hotel chains also run institutions that conduct courses in hotel management. Students can also enroll in private institutions that are endorsed by the (AICTE), All India council for Technical Education and affiliated with foreign institution of hotel management.
