It really depends on what your job is in a hotel.
From a front desk perspective:
Advantages:
-A lot of downtime
-Easy to get into without much work experience
-You're valued-at least relative to other jobs I've had and fields I've been in-if you're a good employee and do a good job, possibly leading to quick promotions and/or raises
-You interact with a lot of interesting people
-You get a lot of interesting/funny stories out of it
-You help people
Disadvantages:
-When it's busy, it's really busy. You're either bored to tears or you have more people to help than you can handle. It's almost like people know when other people need the front desk a

Darsha, both are good in their own way. However between the two and generally speaking I would suggest for Hotel management because even with this degree you can work in good Restaurants of the Airport and amy also get conencted to a Airline through food business. And hotel management gives you a wider scope also.

Good communication skills
Possibility of learning new language which is very important in hotel industry
International slang
