Students can get into JMI BA programme through CUET UG or JMI entrance test. Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. However, starting 2022, admission to a few BA (Hons) specialisations was CUET-based and for the rest, it is still university-level entrance-based. Selection criteria for JMI BA programme differs according to specilisation.

Students seeking admissions to Maharaja Agrasen College BA must note that admissions are conducted mainly through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), conducted by the NTA. Students must clear their previous qualifying examination and appear for the CUET exam. Upon being allotted the preferred college, students can complete the joining formalities at the college.

Hi, IGNOU is the best distance university in India, and is recognised by the UGC and DEB. Of course, a BA in Psychology degree from IGNOU is worth it. If you think that every employer will prefer a regular degree only, that's not right. Employers seek skills and expertise; they look for a strong portfolio, and if you have prior work experience, then it's a plus.
If you pursue a BA Psychology from IGNOU, you'll get a lot of time and flexibility to work on your addition skills or maybe join an organisation to get experience. This will only benefit you.

See, the salary package for a Social Worker in India completely depends on the employer. For freshers, it can be in a range of INR 2.9 LPA to 5 LPA. If you have some prior experience, you can earn around INR 6 to 8 LPA. It also depends on how much the organisation is willing to provide. Additionally, an MSW degree also makes you more employable and increases the chances of getting a higher package.
