Actually, MA LLB is a dual-degree programme that interrelates a Master's in Arts (MA) in a social Science or humanities subject with a Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB). For this course, different colleges or universities have different fee structure and admission process. But basic criteria is the candidate should complete his/her 10+2 with 50% or more marks and need to qualify entrance exam. For government colleges, fees ranges from INR 5000 - 50,000 and for private colleges, it is around INR 1 - 5 lakhs.

If you've done MA in Ancient History. You'll have to appear for UGC Net under history subject. Paper 2 covers ancient medieval and modern Indian history along with world history, archaeology, culture and historiography. So, even if your focus is ancient you have to prepare for other parts too.
