The IBPS PO Prelims syllabus consists of three main subjects:
- English Language (25 Questions): It includes: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Para Jumbles, Spotting Errors, Fill in the Blanks, Sentence Correction.
- Quantitative Aptitude (35 Questions): includes: Simplification, Number Systems, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Average, Ratio & Proportion, Mixtures & Alligations, Simple, Compound Interest, Work & Time, Time & Distance, Mensuration (Area & Volume), Data Interpretation.
- Reasoning Ability (35 Questions)
The total number of questions in the IBPS PO Prelims exam is 100, and the time limit is one hour.

The syllabus for the IBPS PO is created by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. To achieve a high exam result, candidates need to prepare in accordance with the syllabus. Preliminary Exam:
