According to IBPS RRB eligibility criteria, only graduates are to be allowed to take part in IBPS RRB selection process. So students in their final year/semester cannot apply for IBPS bank exams with their pre-final marks.

All the candidates who have completed their graduation from a government-recognized university are eligible for the IBPS RRB recruitment. So, the candidates who are 12th pass are not eligible for the exam.

 Yes, relaxation in the age limit is given to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. The relaxation given to candidates in terms of upper age limit is given below.

(For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years

In the case of Ex- servicemen commissioned officers, including ECOs/ SSCOs, who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within the next one year from the last date for receipt of application) other than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalidment, subject to ceiling as per Government guidelines

No, there are no minimum qualifying marks in graduation to apply for IBPS RRB exam. The educational qualification prescribed for IBPS RRB exam is gratuation. The age limit for Office Assistant is between 18 and 28 years. For Officers Scale I post, the age limit is between 18 and 30 years. The age limit for Officers Scale II post is between 21 and 32 years. The age limit for Officers Scale III post is between 21 and 40 years.

No, you cannot apply for IBPS RRB exam. You need to clear all the papers in graduation to be eligible for the exam. To be eligible for IBPS RRB exam, candidates must be a graduate. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation cannot apply for the exam.

Candidates who have completed their graduation as on the date of application can only apply for IBPS RRB exam. The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is graduation. Candidates must also have proficiency in computers. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation cannot apply for the exam.

Yes, there is age limit to apply for the IBPS RRB exam. For Office Assistant/Clerk, the age limit is between 18 and 28 years. For Officers Scale I post, the age limit is between 18 and 30 years. The age limit for Officers Scale II post is between 21 and 32 years. The age limit for Officers Scale III post is between 21 and 40 years. Candidates falling within the prescribed age limit can apply for the exam.

At times due to the heavy load at the server, IBPS RRB admit card page takes time to load. Candidates should not panic rather they should keep calm and try to download the admit card within an interval of five minutes.

Candidates need to carry the authenticated prelims admit card along with the Mains admit card for the Mains exam. Those failing to carry the authenticated prelims admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates are also required to carry two passport-sized photographs to the exam centre.

Following are the items not allowed inside the IBPS RRB exam centre:

  • You are not allowed to carry certain items inside the exam hall like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner.
  • You are not allowed to carry any communication device such as a mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. are not allowed.
