But there are few things which should be kept in mind as ICSI has started giving very fewer results.
1) Patience- It is the key to success at least for CS executive exam.
2) Mental and physical strength-Exams are conducted consecutively without breaks. Your body feels drained after first two exams.
3)Confidence
Some tips for preparation
For CL, ECL, SL and IGL- Just read the chapter and try to understand the concept of each and every topic. Don't mug up things it will result in nothing. Yes, you can, if you have a good conceptual clarity regarding the subjects. It will be easy for a CA students to clear the costing subject of CS executive, if the students gets good marks in CA IPCC group 1 in cost & accounts and have conceptual knowledge.

Yes, you can apply for CS foundation course. Eligibility for CS Foundation:
Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) examination of a Board/University constituted by law in India or any examination recognised by the Central Government as equivalent thereto can join the CS Foundation Programme. There is no minimum requirement of percentage of marks secured at Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) examination.
