Easy or tough will depend on your own competency. Suggestion from me would be that you should check the formats and test pattern. Many people will be having their own opinion about it so it's up to you to judge.

I would advise you to take TOEFL as it is highly preferred. Please also check MIT website, TOEFL is not even mandatory but will depend on your profile. You can write to them.

The preparation takes around 3 to 5 months and the scores are valid for two years. Once expired you must take it again. So, you can schedule it accordingly. You may start preparing now, slowly and gradually. Good luck.

If you could state the purpose of taking these tests, it would be easy to guide you because SAT, TOEFL and IELTS are international standardised tests mainly use for the admissions abroad. Whereas, MAT is a national management entrance exam. For the preparation of SAT exam, visit khanacademy.org and the official site for registration is collegeboard.org.
For TOEFL and IELTS, just search on Amazon or Google and you will get e-books to download. I would suggest, you should take a mock test, first and then see which one is easier for you.
All the best.
