Admission to B.Sc. at IHM Ranchi can be considered a bit difficult as it is done based on the marks obtained in The NCHMCT exam. However, admission to the diploma and certificate courses can be considered a bit easier as you just need 45% in class 12th in any stream from any recognized board to be eligible for these courses.

NITHM, SIITAM and IHM RIG offer a three-year full-time BSc course in the fieldof Hotel Management and Administration. As per the available data, BSc at SIITAM costs the lowest when compared to the other two. Talking about the placements, NITHM is a better choice as it provides the highest package of 16 LPA. So, considering both the fees and placements, NITHM BSc courses are more cost efficient.

IHM Ranchi is generally considered a Tier 2 institute within the hierarchy of Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) in India. Tier 1 IHMs are typically the most prestigious and include institutes like IHM Pusa (Delhi), IHM Mumbai, and IHM Bangalore. Tier 2 institutes, such as IHM Ranchi, still offer quality education and good placement opportunities but are not as highly ranked as the Tier 1 institutes.
