For Diploma courses, the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam is considered for selection. The institute also provides direct admission. Shortlisted candidates are required to register for NCHMCT JEE Counselling for BSc and NCHMCT MSc JEE Counselling for MSc courses.

Yes, IHM Jaipur offers direct admission to BSc and MSc courses. Direct admission is provided to MSc candidates who are having two-years or more working experience in 3-star and above rated hotel industry (Industrial training which is part of degree not to be counted as working experience) after passing the Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU. Candidates need to complete bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from a recognised university with at least 55% or more aggregate.
