Yes, if you belong to the General AI category, you can get admission to a few of the B.Tech.+ M.S. (by Research) specialisations. In 2025, the cutoff ranks varied between 62 and 255 in the General AI category. Therefore, considering the cutoff range it is possible to secure a seat at IIIT Hyderabad with a cutoff rank of 150. However, in which round you will get the admission depends on the cutoff range released by the institute in a particular round.
