IIITH UGEE 2025: Interview, Admit Card, Exam, Application Form, Result, Admission Process

IIIT offers admission to five dual degree courses Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECD), Computer Science and Engineering (CSD), Computer Science (CSD), Computational Linguistics (CLD), Computational Natural Sciences (CND), Computing and Human Sciences (CHD). Apart from UGEE, IIIT Hyderabad also offers admission to B.Tech programmes through channels like JEE Main, NK/ NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, and Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC). Students who had qualified the entrance examination must appear for an interview based on which they will be offered seats in the institute.

Students who qualify the examination can appear for the interview process. The interview will be conducted online by IIIT Hyderabad to shortlist the Students for admission. The decision on the final offer of admission is solely based on the interview performance.

The Students will have to log in using the required credentials to download the admit card. Details regarding the exam date, timings, venue, guidelines and more are released through the admit card. While reporting to the exam centre, the Students had to produce their admit card and identity proof. 

During the application process, the Students had to register, fill out the form and pay the required fee. Payment of fee will be accepted only through debit card/credit card/net banking. No applications were accepted after the final date.

IIITH UGEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

IIIT Hyderabad offers admission to five dual degree courses (B Tech + Master of Science by Research) in the institute. Students have to qualify the entrance exam to appear in the seat allotment process. To appear in IIITH UGEE 2026, Students have to pass Class 12 or equivalent qualifying Examination with an aggregate of 60% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Shortlisted Students have to accept their seats and pay the fees within the given timeline. Students who will fulfil the eligibility criteria of IIITH UGEE 2026 have to produce their documents and report to the institute.

The authorities prepare the IIITH UGEE syllabus 2026 which will consist of the subjects and topics that have to be studied for the examination. Students can prepare for the exam by knowing topics on which the question paper will be based. The syllabus consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
