Undergrad college matter for selection IIMs and FMS but not a single criteria. It more depend on 10th, 12th, graduation Mark's, achievements and test score, etc. It also depends a lot on GD /PI score. IIM, XLRI, FMS are not the end there are many good B-schools.

Selection in IIM depend on 10th, 12th, graduation, achievements, test score. It is good to study commerce, business or economics at school and college level but not necessary. There is no such best college at 11th and 12 th which can help to get into IIM s but one should try to get into best.

Yes, you need to complete your graduation first to appear for CAT exam. It's good that you have planned in advance. Just start preparing for CAT from your second year at B.Com. As per statistics provided by the institute, one student was admitted in the 2015-17 batch, followed by three students each in 2016-18 and 2017-19 batches. Though IIM officials did not provide nationality of the students under SNQ, those in the know stated that students from Nepal, Singapore, Italy, Russia and the USA have been applying under the quota. The above statements are based on research and there might be time changes. However, I feel based on the statement that there should not be an issue.
