No, clearing the minimum criteria doesn't guarantee a call. It depends on one's overall profile, 10th, 12th marks, work experience, etc.

Sure you can do. A B.Tech degree generally takes 4 years to complete but if you have a very good profile which most of the IIMs look for and you score the required percentile in CAT exam then surely you can study in an IIM.

You are having good score in your education. IIMs consider 5 to 10% weightage from your previous education score so you need to prepare well for CAT exam to get IIM. According to last cut-off, you need to score above 90.

There is possibility to get iim under obc by scoring 80 percentile

If you want to study in IIM, then you have to appear in CAT exam which conducted in November in which you have to score good percentile.

There are a number of courses so obviously the criteria are different for each course, so which course are you talking about exactly?
