The students need more than 95-96 percentile in CAT to get a call. But old IIMs do not only give weightage to CAT, they also consider academics, work experience and other things.

Hello there,
So there is resources in abundance out there on the internet. One of the best source is YouTube for learning strategies as to how to solve questions as quickly as possible. You can also buy CAT practice books from amazon or nearby book store here is the link http://5231.xg4ken.com/trk/v1?prof=482&camp=10317&affcode=pg4850857&kct=google&kchid=7042030809&cid=234700005029&networkType=search&kdv=m&kpid=1259064131&kmc=117995818&criteriaid=aud-334192860636:pla-384872912376&adgroupid=46619579702&campaignid=977146504&locphy=9061686&adpos=1o1&url=https://www.amazon.in/Prepare-Common-Admission-Meenakshi-Upadhyay/dp/1259064131?tag=

Once you appear for CAT exam, your score will be automatically sent to those IIMs that you selected in your CAT application. Using the CAT scores and previous academic details, each IIM prepares a rank list.

Hello, If you are from general category, then getting a call at this profile will be difficult even at a high percentile.

Dear Ankush!
It's not compulsory to get admission in 2-year full-time PGP programme from IIMs but it's good to average as it gives you additional weightage over other candidates.

Hi dear, The main objective of introducing CMAT is to reduce the stress of students, expenditures on coaching for different entrance exams of b-schools, mock tests, books and various other materials available in the market required for preparation. With the introduction of CMAT now students can take only one exam as it covers more than4000 Management Institutes to provide access to around 1.6 lacs seats across the nation. Though CMAT is the new kid on the block but it is gaining its popularity among students by proving its worth.

Hey,
It's too early at this stage to speculate your chances of getting into an IIM. The minimum requirement for doing MBA from any institute in India is graduation. So, first please focus on completing your graduation with good grades and then aim for an excellent percentile in CAT then you are all set to secure admission via CAT.

I think there is a slight confusion here. IISWBM & IIM are two seperate entities. For IISWBM, you need to get 60 percentile in order to secure your place plus your GD-PI performance matters.
