Below is eligibility criteria required by candidates for filling out IIT JAM 2026 Counselling application form:

• Candidates should have passed an undergraduate degree or should be currently studying in their final year of undergraduate programme. 

• Candidates promoted without a marksheet should produce a certificate stating the subjects studied in that semester/year duly signed by the Head of the Institute.

• Foreign nationals with Indian degree are eligible to apply, subject to policy of the Admitting Institute

Candidates must get 75% in Class 12 or be in the top 20 percentile in order to be eligible for JOSAA counselling. The qualifying percentage is 65% for candidates who identify as SC, ST, or PwD. (to be admitted to IITs). The ability to participate in JoSAA 2024 counselling will be extended to all applicants who meet the requirements for JEE Advanced 2024. The dates for the JoSAA 2024 registration period have been released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). On June 10, 2024, the JoSAA 2024 registration period opened. Sorry to say, but this rank is now enough to get CSE in any IIT, but you can easily get Electrical branch in decent IITs.
