If you are confused about choosing the right college for you then I would like to say that BIBS is the best choice if you are planning to study in Kolkata. We have great faculty and mentors. We have the best companies coming in every year for placement. We have maintained 100% placement record provided you have 75% attendance. Events are held at regular intervals so you learn while working. So in simple words, you don't have to worry about getting placed in a good company. I think that should be the biggest relief for you. Hope you take the right call. All the best for your future.

Generally, the cutoff of all top IIMs is above 99 percentile (and 96+ percentile for new ones) so it's quite difficult to get an interview call at just 90 percentile.

Yes, it is compulsory to appear for the interview rounds of any IIM to get the final admission. By the way, these IIMs conduct a Written Ability Test(What) instead of a GD along with the regular PI.

To get a call from IIMs, your board exam marks or Bachelor's degree score is not important. But you need to have at least 50-60% in the Bachelor's degree.
You need to have a good percentile in CAT (Common Admission Test) exam. For top IIMs, your percentile should be atleast 90 and above.
Your profile also plays a major role.
