According to the IIT Bhubaneswar BTech cutoff 2026 for the General AI category, the cutoff was 14763 in the first round. Students with a rank lower than the one mentioned here would have a better chance of admission to the BTech in Civil Engineering programme.

IIT Bhubaneswar OBC cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the MSc course for the third round. 

For the OBC AI category, the round 3 cutoff ranged from 246 to 1425 for various MSc courses. Among all,  M.Sc. + Ph.D. in Geology was the toughest course for admission, with the cutoff being 246

During the IIT BHU JEE Advanced cutoff 2026, the Round 1 closing ranks for BTech core branches, including Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, ranged between 936 and 2245 for the SC category students under the AI quota.  Considering the first round cutoff, candidates must target a cutoff rank of up to 2245 and below to get BTech core branches at IIT Varanasi.

IIT BHU cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for admission to the BTech courses based on the students performance in the JEE Advanced exam. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 1436 to 13991 for various BTech courses. Among all courses, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive, with the cutoff being 1436. See the table below to know the round 1 cutoff for other courses for the General AI quota.

Students need to obtain a competitive rank in JEE Main and JEE Advanced so that they can become eligible for admission procedures at IIT Bhubaneswar. Candidates are required to achieve a cut-off rank, as decided by the course. For instance, the cut-off rank needed for BTech Civil Engineering was 14,782, whereas for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) it was approximately 3,685. IIT Bhubaneswar JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BTech/Integrated BTech courses. BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the most popular BTech specialisation among students. For the General AI category candidates, the last round closing rank to secure a seat in CSE was 3685. For the SC AI category, the last round closing rank for CSE was 1237

IIT Bhubaneshwar cutoff 2026 has been declared for round 1 regarding admission to the MSc course. For the General AI category, the closing ranks varied between 115 and 789. 

If you attained rank is above 789, you can also consider other colleges which have slightly more lenient cutoffs, like IIT Palakkad. Refer to the table below to know the cutoff for this college.

IIT BBS cutoff 2025 is yet to be released for admission to the BTech courses across mulitple specialisations. However, going as per the last year cutoff data, candidates can expect the IIT Bhubaneswar Round 1 Seat Allotment for various BTech courses to range between the ranks mentioned below:  

  • B.Tech. in Electrical and Communication Engineering must range between 4798 and 5157
  • B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering must range between 3404 and 3685
  • B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering must range between 6505 and 7661

IIT Bhubaneshwar BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 3404 and, 13429 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneshwar must secure a maximum rank upto 13429.

IIT Bhubaneswar cutoff 2023 has been released upto 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs are released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on the following factors:

The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
