For the SC category students under the AI quota, the JEE Advanced cutoff ranks varied between 283 and 2261 for core branches, including CSE, Civil, Chemical, etc. For the core branches, mostly the cutoffs are on the higher side for admission. Candidates seeking admission to core branches must target securing a cutoff rank of up to 2000 to improve their chances of admission at IIT BHU. For 2025, the IIT Varanasi JEE Advanced cutoff ranged between 1489 and 20792 for BTech admission across multiple specialisations based on the last round cutoff list for the General AI category candidates, wherein BTech in Computer Science & Engineering was the most competitive. Those students who are aiming for top specialisation should strive to attain a rank of 1489 or lower to increase their chances of admission at IIT BHU. Although please keep in mind that the cutoff will vary across different categories and rounds.

Students need to obtain a competitive rank in JEE Main and JEE Advanced so that they can become eligible for admission procedures at IIT Bhubaneswar. IIT Bhubaneswar JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BTech/Integrated BTech courses. BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the most popular BTech specialisation among students. For the General AI category candidates, the last round closing rank to secure a seat in CSE was 3685. For the SC AI category, the last round closing rank for CSE was 1237.

IIT Bhubaneshwar JAM cutoff 2025 has been released for Round 1, wherein the closing ranks varied between 127 and 589 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. IIT BBS cutoff 2025 is yet to be released for admission to the BTech courses across mulitple specialisations. However, going as per the last year cutoff data, candidates can expect the IIT Bhubaneswar Round 1 Seat Allotment for various BTech courses to range between the ranks mentioned below:
- B.Tech. in Electrical and Communication Engineering must range between 4798 and 5157
- B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering must range between 3404 and 3685
- B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering must range between 6505 and 7661

IIT Bhubaneshwar BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 3404 and, 13429 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneshwar must secure a maximum rank upto 13429.

For 2023, cut off was 12911 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Civil Engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 19272 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 2769. In 2023, it increased to 3101. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 859 to 1134 for OBC, 366 to 651 for SC, 204 to 268 for ST, 355 to 367 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
