SC candidates must have at least 75% in their 12th-grade board exams, along with the qualification of JEE Main and Advanced scores, to be eligible for admission to IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. With a score of 69%, you do not qualify for B.Tech courses. You can consider state engineering colleges or private colleges, which have lower cutoff requirements. The entrance exam required for admission to the MBA programme at IIT Dhanbad is the Common Admission Test (CAT):
Eligibility
Candidates must have a valid CAT score and a first-class or 60% marks or CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 in their degree. Final-year students are also eligible to apply.

The cutoff was released for diferent categories under the AI quota. The Cutoff for the General AI closed at the range of 103 and 1017 for different MSc courses. IIT Dhanbad accepts IIT JAM exam scores for admission to the MSc courses. The cutoff is released category-wise for candidates under the AI quota. The Cutoff for the General AI category candidates for different courses was between the range of 103 and 1017. The MSc courses available at IIT Dhanbad with their respective Cutoff is given in the table below:

Yes, IIT Dhanbad does accept the CAT score for admission to the MBA course. However, the IIT Dhanbad CAT cutoff 2025 is not released publicly and is instead only visible to the candidates with login access.
Based on the previous year estimated cutoff for the General AI category, the overall CAT percentile was 80. For more details, students can click here.

IIT Dhanbad JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded after the last round of cutoff. The cutoff ranks for the General All India category candidates was ranged between 3846 and 15321. The closing cutoff rank for BTech (Hons) CSE was 3846 in 2024, 3258 in 2023 and 3009 in 2022; which shows that the cutoff witnessed an improving trend for the course. For most of the courses, there was a fluctuating trend for during the past few years. The last-round closing Cutoff of various courses for the General AI category have been given in the table below to show the trend for the 3 years:

IIT Dhanbad JEE Advanced Cutoff was released based on the category and gender. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 3846 and 15321. To get B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, the General AI category candidates must have secured a minimum cutoff rank of 9875. For the General AI female candidates, the minimum JEE Advanced rank to get Mechanical Engineering was 19099. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank for Mechanical closed at 7762.
