Missing the qualifying cutoff rank by even a small margin can make admission at IIT Dhanbad for its MSc and MSc Tech courses unlikely. Students who want admission to this institute need to attain course- and category-specific ranks. The admission process is strict because the seat counts are low and applicant pools are large.
