For last year, the closing rank for Integrated M.Tech in Electrical Engineering was 5416 which is very close to this range. This was for General category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission. However, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 3923. In 2022, it increased to 4127. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 2051 to 1904 for OBC, 1193 to 1144 for SC, 544 to 652 for ST, 651 to 809 for EWS, and 3923 to 174 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 1806 and closing rank was 2008. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 4376 and 4376. Admission to Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 623 for OBC, 332 for SC, 127 for ST, and 225 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2023, IIT Gandhinagar Round 1 cut off was 1534 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. For female candidates in the general category under All India quota, 2465 was the closing rank. IIT Gandhinagar BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 3827 to 4170 for OBC, 2198 to 2286 for SC, 646 to 686 for ST, 1499 to 1741 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering was 11217 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. For 2024, cut off was 7742 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering in IIT Gandhinagar. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 15791 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
