JEE Advanced Round 1 cutoff 2023 has been released on June 30 for IIT Gandhinagar. As per Round 1 cutoff, BTech CSE become the most cometitive specialisation with a closing cutoff rank of 1534, followed by Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with 2096. The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Gandhinagar has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 6921. In 2022, it increased to 7223. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 3270 to 3215 for OBC, 1871 to 1800 for SC, 871 to 895 for ST, 1060 to 1348 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories, however, the ranks are slightly different.

For 2023, cut off was 3962 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering in IIT Gandhinagar. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 6058 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors: The JEE Advanced score of the candidate, the category of the candidate, the number of seats available in the course. Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For last year, the closing rank for Integrated M.Tech in Electrical Engineering was 5416 which is very close to this range. This was for General category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission. However, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 2051 to 1904 for OBC, 1193 to 1144 for SC, 544 to 652 for ST, 651 to 809 for EWS, and 3923 to 174 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 1806 and closing rank was 2008. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 4376 and 4376. Admission to Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE.
